Devrai, means forest of the Gods. Located in a lush dense thicket of vegetation on the Mulshi backwaters, this family owned and run resort rings true to its name. Inspired from the nature around it, the architecture of Devrai can be described in one word, 'open'. 

 

With vast terraces for the rooms and sprawling courtyards, this space lets you enjoy the ever changing weather of Mulshi  up and close.

A tribute to the wada style of architecture, the resort is fashioned to be a sort of 'palace' with a traditional material palette and intricate ornamentation of architectural elements.

 

The resort is programmed with 3 grand suites, 1 dormitory, a fully equipped kitchen, a large lobby and a courtyard restaurant, making it a home for 55 guests at a time. The program of the resort is naturally aligned to the topography of the site which allows for distinct separation of activities yet ties the whole space together.
